The majority of the people who answered our questionnaire said that they expect to be scared when watching a thriller film and that the storyline should be unpredictable.
They also said that music is more effective than silence because it can affect the mood of the film. The questionnaire also came to the conclusion that a well known soundtrack would persuade people to watch a film.
Our ideas for our film were supported through the results of the questionnaire as we have decided to make a psychological thriller called 'Playground' and it is set in one too. 'Playground' has five deaths throughout the whole film which is the maximum amount of deaths that the majority of people feel would make a successful thriller. Everyone, apart from one person, agreed with us that the use of children in a thriller film would be creepy and make a good storyline. The five teenagers are all suspects in this film to make it more interesting which provides the audience with what they want.

We chose our film to be a 15 because we feel it related to the guidelines of the BBFC website, which are shown below. It will contain some strong language but it will not be in an aggressive form or be repeated over and over again. There will also be no direct scenes of violence and the imitable behaviour of suicide will only be implied and no details will be given.
